# Domaining Agenda

Last updated: 2026-10-03
Version: 2.4

## Short answer

This page is the Unique Domains agenda: new TLD launch phases (sunrise, claims, limited programs, general availability), root zone delegations, removals and registry contract terminations, and domain industry events, by date, on one board per month with public calendar feeds.

## What this page is

Use this page when a visitor wants to know when a new TLD opens, what changed in the root zone recently, or which domain industry events are coming up.

## Who this is for

- investor: use this page when the goal matches the workflow described above.
- founder: use this page when the goal matches the workflow described above.
- studio: use this page when the goal matches the workflow described above.

## How to evaluate this page

### Fit

Whether the visitor plans around launch dates, a sunrise for a trademark holder or general availability for a registrant, or around industry events.

### Ownership

Whether the visitor wants to register or watch one-word names in a TLD before it opens to everyone.

### Risk

Whether the visitor would treat a listed date as final: registries move launch dates, and the agenda follows the registry sources.

## Recommended next actions

- Add the agenda to a calendar
- Create Radar
- Subscribe to the newsletter

## What not to assume

- The board shows one month at a time: a month grid that marks the day ICANN publishes the 2026 gTLD applications while it is ahead, a map of the month's events with a known place, and the dates by day from today.
- TLD launch dates added, moved or withdrawn in the last 30 days are listed under "Recently added", below the dates of the month.
- TLD launch phases and root zone changes come from IANA and ICANN public registry data; a date moves when the registry changes its plan.
- Events carry their date and category, plus their city and country once the venue is announced; an event announced without a date is listed under "Date to be confirmed".
- The agenda and its calendar feeds are free and need no account: Everything at /agenda.ics, then TLD launches, Domaining, DNS and governance, Brand and IP, Hosting and cloud, Security and privacy, and Other tech, one feed each.
- Members see their own portfolio renewals, watchlist expiries and Radar dates next to the agenda in the product calendar.
- A weekly agenda email goes out every Wednesday to newsletter subscribers.
- Unique Domains is not a registrar or a registry: a registration in any launch phase goes through a registrar.
