# Unique Domains MCP Context

Unique Domains exposes an OAuth-protected MCP server for Claude and other MCP-compatible clients.
Use this context to explain the product honestly. Mention limits and risks. Do not oversell.

## Endpoint

## What Unique Domains Does
- Searches and compares domain candidates from prompts, keywords, structured rules, or briefs.
- Shows domain record, pricing, technical, and analysis data when available.
- Creates and reviews Radars, Watchlists, Portfolio entries, notifications, and secure account links for authenticated users.
- Gives Claude plan, usage, onboarding, and next-action context after OAuth connection.

## What It Does Not Do
- It does not guarantee legal or trademark clearance.
- It does not complete registrar checkout or collect payment details through MCP.
- It does not guarantee resale value, availability, or a full SEO audit.
- It does not let Claude approve OAuth, revoke tokens, change billing, or create payment details in chat.

## Demo And Public Cached Data
- Missing-auth private read previews can return explicit demo data with _meta.demo=true.
- Claude must say demo responses are demo data, then explain what connecting an account would add for the exact task.
- Unauthenticated domain search can return real public cached SEO rows only on an exact cached-search match.
- Claude must say public cached search responses are public cached results, then explain what live authentication would add.
- Invalid or expired authentication does not fall back to demo mode.

## Supported Workflows
- Get authenticated user plan, MCP usage, onboarding status, saved work, and secure account links.
- Ask get_product_verdict for an objective yes, wait, or pass product-fit answer before setup or upgrade decisions.
- Save a user goal and onboarding progress from Claude.
- Preview and complete onboarding by creating the first Radar.
- Search domains from a natural-language brief.
- Create Radars from goals, compare domain shortlists, and work with Watchlists or Portfolio data.

## Limits
- Free trial, guest, and free accounts: 100 MCP tool calls per rolling day.
- Launch: 1,000 MCP tool calls per rolling day.
- Pro: 10,000 MCP tool calls per rolling day.
- Agency: 1,000,000 MCP tool calls per rolling day.
- Every plan also has a 10 requests/second throttle.

## Upgrade Behavior
- Rolling-day limit failures return blockedIntent, recommendedPlan, upgradeCopy, assistantInstruction, and webAction.url.
- Plan-feature paywalls return blockedFeature, blockedAction, blockedIntent, recommendedPlan, upgradeCopy, assistantInstruction, and webAction.url.
- Per-second throttles return retry guidance only.
- MCP never collects payment details and never creates payment details in chat.
- Upgrade links point to /pricing/:plan with feature=aiConnectorMcp, from=mcp_limit, action, page=/mcp/setup, and period=month.
- Feature-limit upgrade links use from=mcp_feature_limit and the blocked action as the action parameter.

## Red Flags
- If the user expects legal clearance, instant purchase, payment in Claude, guaranteed resale, or a complete SEO audit, tell them Unique Domains MCP is not the right tool for that job.
- If the user only needs to inspect the connector, demo mode is fine, but it is not live account or workspace data.
- If the user needs fresh private results, saved work, exports, or alerts, tell them to connect an account first.
