API

A public REST API for automating search and evaluation at your own cadence.

The practical questions people ask before subscribing.

Straight answers on billing, credits, and what the product actually does.

Billing

Do I need a credit card to get started?

No. Explorer is free, permanent, and asks for nothing, not even a card. Full Access takes a card at checkout and charges $19 immediately. There is no trial, so the 7-day refund below is the safety net instead.

What exactly am I charged, and when?

$19 the moment you check out, then $19 on the same day each month until you cancel. Nothing else is ever charged automatically: credit packs and monthly refills exist only when you choose them. The exact recurring amount is shown on the plan card and again at checkout, before you commit.

What if it turns out not to be for me?

Tell us within 7 days of paying and we refund you in full. No conditions and no questions: it holds even if you already spent every credit on analyses, appraisals or Radars. Email [email protected] with the address on your account and the date of the payment. We answer within 5 working days, and the refund goes back to your card through Stripe, usually within 10 working days depending on your bank. One refund per customer under this guarantee. Consumers in the European Union also keep their 14-day right of withdrawal, and whichever gives you more is the one that applies.

Read the refund policy
Can I cancel whenever I want?

Yes, from the billing portal in your settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then your account returns to Explorer. Nothing is deleted: your projects, Radars, Watchlists and reports stay where they are, with the Explorer limits applied.

What happens if a payment fails?

A refused payment is not a charge, so nothing is owed. There is no grace period and no retry against a failing card: your account returns to Explorer immediately, and your data stays exactly where it is. Update the card in the billing portal and Full Access is restored on the spot.

Is there an annual plan, or a way to pause?

Not today. Full Access is monthly only, so there is no yearly commitment to sign and no discount for one. There is no pause button either: cancel, and subscribe again when the next decision comes. Your work stays where you left it in the meantime.

What if I only need this once?

Take Full Access for the month the decision takes, and cancel before it renews. One month at $19, no trial to remember, and nothing renews once you have cancelled.

Will the price go up on me?

The price you subscribe at is the price you keep for as long as your subscription stays active. When we retired the earlier plans, their subscribers kept the price and the terms they had bought under, and the same rule applies to Full Access. Any change to the list price is announced by email before it could reach a renewal, so you can decide before it applies to you.

How do you take payment, and do I get invoices?

By card, through Stripe. Your card details never reach our servers. Any VAT or sales tax is worked out at checkout from your billing address rather than added afterwards, and every invoice is in the billing portal whenever you need it.

Plans and credits

Is 200 credits enough for a month?

For most naming or portfolio decisions, yes. A full analysis costs 5 credits, an appraisal 1, and each running Radar after your first 10 a month. So 200 credits covers 15 analyses, 50 appraisals and 5 running Radars in the same month, with 35 to spare. Explorer's 40 credits covers 8 analyses, which is enough to settle a shortlist.

What do credits pay for?

Three things today: a full analysis at 5 credits per domain, an appraisal through HumbleWorth at 1 credit per name, and each running Radar after your first at 10 credits a month with its matching, digests and AI briefings included, whether it lives in a project or stands alone. Searching, filtering, saving and rereading anything you already paid for cost nothing. From 11 September 2026 three more actions meter: API calls at 1 credit per 10 once the API opens, CSV exports at 1 credit per 100 rows actually delivered, and Portfolio monitoring at 1 credit a month per domain above your first 25.

What happens when I run out?

Nothing is bought for you, and nothing you unlocked disappears. Search, browsing, your lists and every report you already paid for keep working, and only new priced actions wait for credits. Buy a pack when you need one: 250 credits for $9, 1,000 for $29 or 3,000 for $69, and it never expires. Or attach the same pack to your subscription as a monthly refill, which grants 25% more credits for the same price, and drop it again when the month is quiet.

Do unused credits roll over?

Your monthly allowance does not: it resets at the start of each month. Credits you buy do, and they never expire, whether you bought a pack once or take one every month. The monthly allowance is always spent first, so a pack is only touched once the allowance is gone.

Is Explorer really free, or a trial in disguise?

Really free, with no timer and no card. It is Full Access with the meter turned down: the same live database and the same tools, capped for occasional use. You get the first page of every search with basic filters and estimated values, unlimited projects each with its own Radar and Watchlist, unlimited client review links, 5 curated Opportunities a day, and 40 credits a month. CSV export is not included. Nothing to relearn when you upgrade, and nothing lost if you come back down.

How it works

What is in a full analysis?

One report per domain, built the moment you run it: a verdict and business ideas, search demand, the fit with your project, an estimated value with the other extensions around the name, history, reputation and topical authority, a USPTO trademark prescreen, and the current registration with timestamped DNS and WHOIS snapshots. Up to ten domains at a time, compared side by side. A report that delivers nothing is not charged, and every report stays free to reopen for 30 days.

How fresh is the data?

Availability and pricing are rescanned on a rolling schedule, and the words in most demand are rechecked most often. A full analysis takes its own DNS and WHOIS snapshots at the moment you run it, each stamped with the time it was checked, so you always know how old a fact is. Registrars still change stock and prices by the hour, so confirm at the registrar before you buy.

Do you guarantee trademark safety?

No, and nobody honest can. The analysis runs a USPTO prescreen so you catch the obvious conflicts before you fall for a name, and it links you straight to the record. It is a signal, not legal advice: confirm with counsel before you commit to a brand.

Do you sell domains, or earn commissions on them?

Neither. We do not sell or register domains. The product routes you to registrars and marketplaces, and the purchase happens there, at their price. Today we earn nothing from those links, so no recommendation you see is nudged by a payout. If that ever changes, it will be stated here first.

Can't I do this with registrars, marketplaces and a spreadsheet?

You can, for one shortlist on one evening. What breaks is the second week: a spreadsheet cannot recheck availability, notice a price drop, run a trademark prescreen, or remember why one name beat another. Unique Domains keeps the search, the proof and the follow-up in one place, so the decision survives being interrupted.

Is this just a naming generator?

No. Generators invent names that may not exist. We start from domains that are actually registerable or for sale, and score them against your project. Use it when you want a buyable shortlist you can defend, not endless inspiration.

Why only one-word domains?

Because one word is the tier where a name is memorable, brandable and comparable, and comparability is what makes a price defensible. Going deep on one tier lets us build real word intelligence and market proof, instead of a thin layer over everything.

How does a Radar notify me?

A Radar is your saved search criteria. It runs on the schedule you choose, daily, weekly or monthly, and each run drops the new matches and changes into your workspace with a briefing attached. A digest email summarises what changed, one message rather than a stream of alerts. Your first running Radar is free; each further one costs 10 credits a month, briefings included.

See how Radars work
Can I export my results?

Yes, on Full Access. Export any selection as CSV, up to 10,000 rows per export. From 11 September 2026 exports cost 1 credit per 100 rows delivered, and until then they are free. Any analysis can also be shared by link with someone who has no account. Explorer does not include CSV export.

Do you offer an API?

Not yet, on any plan: the customer-facing REST API is still in development. Its documentation and sample responses are published so you can plan an integration before it opens. When it does, calls meter at 1 credit per 10 from the same pool.

Review current API status
Can my team use it, or can I use it for clients?

Full Access is one seat, and client work is welcome: agencies and studios run client projects on it, and any analysis can be shared by link with someone who has no account. Team seats arrive with the Agency plan, which is announced but not on sale yet. If you need seats sooner, tell us and we will work something out.

The company

Who is behind Unique Domains?

A small team you can name. Unique Domains is built by FLUXEON, a French company registered in Paris under RCS Paris 994 895 472, and run by its founder Kai Etan from Singapore. EU consumer law and EU privacy rules therefore apply to every customer, wherever you are.

What happens to my data if I cancel or delete my account?

Cancelling deletes nothing. Ask us to delete your account and we erase your account and product data, keeping only the billing records that tax law requires us to hold. You can also ask for a copy of your data at any time, and we answer within one month.

How do I reach a human, and how fast?

Three ways, and all three reach a person: email [email protected], WhatsApp on +33 6 01 71 15 55, or the chat bubble at the bottom right of this page. No AI bot sits on any of them and there is no ticket queue: you are talking to the team. We answer within 5 working days, and refund requests are handled in the same window.

Message us on WhatsApp
What if Unique Domains shuts down?

You keep your work and your money. Every list and report can be exported as CSV, and you would be refunded for any period you had paid for and not received. We are a registered company with a published address and a named director, not an anonymous side project.

Not sure yet?

Start with Explorer for live first-page searches with estimated values, basic filters, unlimited Projects, and 40 credits a month, enough for eight full domain analyses. Move to Full Access when you want the whole database, alerts, exports, and portfolio work, and add credits only in the months that need them.
